BACHELORETTE GIFTS
Bachelorette gifts, much like the bachelorette party itself, are all about celebrating the end of your friend’s single life and the beginning of her new adventure! Choosing the perfect bachelorette gift does not require spending a lot of money. This isn’t the bridal shower, where things like kitchenware and Macy’s gift registry are involved. This is a time to be creative, maybe even a little irreverent and, of course, thoughtful because any gift with some thought behind it always says that you care! The theme and feel of the party itself will help you determine how PG or X rated the bachelorette gift you might choose should be. Is her future mother in law invited (and does she have a sense of humor?) Is the bachelorette easily embarrassed or a bit wild? Again, unlike the bridal shower, the bachelorette gifts don’t have to be so practical. The bachelorette party is definitely a time for more frivolous fun! Some relatively tame yet sexy bachelorette gifts range from massage oils and lingerie to the kind of naughty gifts sure to make the bachelorette party howl with laughter. (Think furry handcuffs, vibrating cock ring or a flavored personal lube with a saucy title, such as Peter Licker: Banana flavor!) When all the bachelorette gifts are opened, consider drapping, surrounding and/or piling them all over the bachelorette with everyone gathered round for one great group picture for her to keep. As the years go by the truth is she will probably use, lose or pack away some of the gifts but the memories of that time with her girlfriends will stay with her for years to come! Bachelorette Party Ideas
The # 1 rule in planning a bachelorette party? Its ALL about the bride-to-be! The bachelorette party is a time for her to have fun, take a break from planning the wedding and connect with her female friends. After all, even the best husband can never be a girlfriend! Bachelorette parties range from a day of pampering at a spa to a wild night out on the town and everything in between. I've heard of parties as unconventional as hosting a cooking class for the whole bachelorette party or all the guests going to a dance studio for a pole dancing lesson! Another great idea is the Bachelorette Roast, full of embarrassing photos and stories. Simply getting creative and asking yourself what the bride likes is a great place to start. Of course, if it’s not a surprise party then checking in with the bachelorette is absolutely key as well! Regardless of where you go or what you are doing, bachelorette party ideas that create interaction among guests and elicit laughter are always a great idea. Aside from the fact that, for most of us, practically any event is more fun when you are wearing a tiara, its highly recommended to have a game or interactive activity in mind! For bachelorette party fun that can be enjoyed at a daytime or nighttime party, bachelorette games like Pin the Junk on the Hunk (think grown up version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey) or a Penis Piñata tend to loosen all your guests up and make for some very memorable videos! One idea for guests to participate in that is often more suited for low key bachelorette parties is to give all guests blank note cards, asking them to fill in one reason why the bachelorette will make a wonderful wife. The party hostess can then place the note cards in a keepsake box to be given to the bachelorette at the end of her party. Another favorite is playing a video version of the newlywed game where fun questions are asked of the bachelorette’s fiancé on video before the party, then asked to the bachelorette on the spot to see how their answers match! For a wild night out it’s not just about interacting with your group of friends, but often complete strangers as well, that makes the whole evening even more memorable. Bachelorette T-shirts with check lists, bachelorette truth or dare, or games like the Bachelorette Bar Challenge (with challenges like "receive a lap dance from a stranger") are a great way to get the bachelorette and all her guests involved and having fun! Lastly, be sure to remember to leave the bride some recovery time between the party and the wedding if the bachelorette party is a late night event. (No bride wants bags under her eyes.) And if you need help pulling it off don’t forget to delegate (just NOT to the bride!) Aside from the number one rule we started with, the only other one that fits almost across the board for any bachelorette party is to take a lot of photos. Creating a photo book online and surprising her after the party can sometimes be the perfect finishing touch no matter what kind of bachelorette ideas you use for your party! Five Free Bachelorette Party Games
Bachelorette party games are always a great way for guests to interact and stir up some fun. Here are a list of five of our favorite free games for you to consider when planning your bachelorette party! The Bachelorette Advice Party Game This bachelorette party game is a good way not only for your guests to get to know each other a little bit but also for you to potentially create a fun keepsake for your bachelorette after the game. Simply pass out note cards and pens to all guests and ask them to write down their best piece of marital advice for the bachelorette. It doesn’t matter if many of your guests are single, pretty much everyone has their ideas about what makes a marriage great! Then place all of the note cards into a pretty box or gift bag and have the bachelorette select them one by one, reading them aloud and trying to guess who wrote it. You can also try passing out penis shaped pieces of paper that you can cut out or purchase, such as penis shaped sticky notes, if you’d like to encourage a bit sillier or sexier the marital advice from your guests! The Who Knows the Bachelorette Best Party Game This bachelorette party game is a great way to include some fun spirited competition into your bachelorette party. Create a list of questions before the party all about your bachelorette. The questions can be just about her. For example: What was the bachelorette’s first job,? What is her favorite TV show? Where did the bachelorette grow up? What is her favorite movie, color food? What is the bachelorette’s bra size? to relationship questions like How did she and her husband-to-be first meet? Where did they go on their first date? What is her favorite pet name for him? Hand out pieces of paper and pens to your guests and have them answer as you read out the questions. Once everyone is done, pose the questions to the bachelorette. The person who gets the most questions right in this bachelorette party game wins! Drape her in a feather boa, place a crown on her head or hand her an embarrassing prize like a vibrator but definitely give her a prize because she knows the bachelorette the best! The I NEVER Bachelorette Party Game To play this bachelorette party game, create an irreverent list of I NEVER statements before the party, such as I never lie about my age, I never slept with someone on a first date, I never faked an orgasm, I never had sex in a public place, I have never pole danced etc. Each guest either chooses a statement to read aloud from the list or she can make up her own on the spot. Then all guests who HAVE done the deed (faked an orgasm, had sex in a public place etc.) have to take a drink! Remember if your bachelorette party is going to include members of the groom’s family and/or moms from either side you may opt for a more PG version of this game and use statements like I never regifted an item and passed it off as new, I never stiffed a waitress, I never returned an item I had worn, I never lied about my natural hair color etc. For non-drinking versions you can also use a big bowl of brightly colored gum balls and for each I NEVER statement that your guests have actually done they have to pop another gumball in their mouths. If you decide to have everyone keeping score then the bachelorette party guest who is the tipsiest or has the biggest mouthful of gum at the end of the game can get a prize for being the wildest guest at the party! You can even make a fun sign for her to wear like, “I never turn down a good time!” Bachelorette Pictionary This bachelorette party game is just like regular Pictionary except you simply create it by writing down words that are all related to weddings, brides, or honeymoons. For example, words like garter, church, prenup, veil, lingerie, honeymoon or even their honeymoon destination, like say Hawaii. Put the pieces of paper with the words into a box or very easily a pretty gift bag and divide your guests into two teams. Each team gets one minute to draw and guess the word. If they don’t guess correctly then the other team gets one minute to guess. The team that gets it right gets a point so be prepared with some fun bachelorette part y favors for the winners! The How Well She Knows Her Man Bachelorette Party Game For this bachelorette party game you will need to have the groom answer a list of questions before the party. Print his answers and then at the party ask the same questions to the bachelorette. You can even ask your guests how many you think she will get right. Its usually best to make the list at least 20 questions long and not terribly obscure to give her a fair chance. You can also ask the groom how many HE thinks she will get right. Here are some suggestions: What is his favorite food? Does he have any phobias (fear of spiders, fear of heights)? What is his favorite sport/sports team? What TV show can’t he live without? What is his middle name? What was his nickname as a child? What was his first pet? Who was his longest relationship with before you? What is his dream car? What is his favorite band? If he could be a professional athlete what sport would he play? Is he allergic to anything? What is his favorite color? What, aside from you of course, is he most proud of? What place would he most like to travel to in the world? Read the question, let the bachelorette give her answer and then read his aloud. At the end you can even read some sort of results summary that applies to her score like one of the options below. Remember to always keep it positive though because sometimes brides can be sensitive and the results are just for fun! 1-5 So, it is all physical? Kidding! Congratulations, your marriage is going to be an adventure and have no problem staying fresh because you aren’t already old and boring to each other! 5-15 You guys are in for a comfortable yet exciting ride since you both love and know each other pretty well but still keep some of the mystery alive! 15-20 Wow! You mean you aren’t already married? You guys are in for a lasting commitment full of knowing, loving and accepting the other person for who they are. Congrats! |
